This new Pantry Raid series will focus on the kind of meal you make when you’re low on groceries and need to ransack your cupboards for ideas. We’ve all been there, and this series is going to help you not just make do, but make genuinely kick-ass dinners you can be proud of (and which your family/roomate/short-notice guest will also happily eat).
This brilliant sauce requires just a few things that your pantry should already have, plus a couple (I hope) givens like pasta and a clove of garlic. The type/shape of pasta doesn’t matter. I used bucatini here, because that’s what I had. It was freaking fabulous—I would (will) make it again exactly the same way, 10/10, no notes. All dinners should be this good (and easy).
