Pizza Rolls
Another easy crowd-pleaser
This is a favorite party dish because it’s easy, super-scalable to feed a group, and seriously good (and fun) to eat. It’s as well-suited to a kid’s birthday as it is to game day grazing—or just a lazy Tuesday night. A big sheet pan of these is guaranteed to quiet the rowdiest crowd and win you fawning adulation from all who witness and enjoy it. That, after all, is why I’m here: to make you into the kitchen star you were born to be.
My One Dough To Rule Them All makes amazing bread, as you can see in the photos on that post. With a couple of small tweaks, it makes a pretty skippy pizza dough too. That’s part of the magic of this dough—it can become many things. It contains multitudes, if you will. You can also use whatever pizza dough recipe you like, or even use supermarket dough (as I used to, especially during and after grad school). I’ve got the dough recipe for you, but beyond that I have the key for transforming the topology of pizza so that it looks like cinnamon rolls and eats like something almost bao-like in its bounciness.
